The Putnam City West Theatre Department is dedicated to educating students to master the craft and discipline of the theatre arts in all forms. We provide a safe, collaborative environment which encourages artistic expression. Through the cultivation of each person’s skills, strengths, and talents, we instill the values our students will need to be successful in the future.

As a program, we encourage collaboration with our community through various forms of performance and competition. This collaboration teaches our students to be open to and embrace positive change, celebrate individuality, honor diversity, and understand that taking risk can turn both successes and failures into valuable learning experiences.
